Ammanford CC Confirm Pre-Season Tour Preparations

Ammanford CC will embark on their first pre-season tour in over ten years in April, as part of its preparations for the 2022 season.

The Club has confirmed that it will play two fixtures, against Wolverton Town CC and Buckingham Town CC at the end of next month.

Having hosted Wolverton Town CC of Milton Keynes for a T20 match on their tour of Wales during the 2021 season, the Club have arranged a return fixture this April.

The Club will also be hosted by Buckingham Town CC, of the Home Counties Premier League on the tour.

The tour party will consist of a mixture of 1st, 2nd and 3rd Team players, together with a healthy blend of talented youngsters that are coming through the junior pathway at the club.

The team will join Buckingham Town CC for a curry night at their club sponsor, Dipalee’s Curry House on Friday evening.

The team will then play Buckingham Town at their Bourton Road ground, on Saturday, 23 April in a 40 over contest, followed by two T20 matches against Wolverton Town on Sunday, 24 April at their Osbourne Street ground.
