Both Root and Salter will be familiar faces to the Balconeers, as they were both previously allocated to the Carmarthenshire-based South Wales Premier Cricket League side last term.

Root featured three times for the Club last term, with his most notable performance coming in a crunch clash against Mumbles CC, where he scored an impressive 69, whilst also taking two wickets with the ball.

Salter, meanwhile, will be all too familiar with his South Wales Premier Cricket League surroundings for 2022. In his tender years, Salter joined the Club from St Ishmaels, before progressing through the ranks in Glamorgan senior setup.

Now a regular in the Glamorgan side, Salter has featured in over 66 First-Class matches and 85 T20 fixtures for the Welsh outfit.

The Club will be looking forward to welcoming both players back to the Park this summer.
